Q: Where do you donate soap and clean water to communities in need?
A: In 2011, our founders took the first soap donation trip to Haiti, where they saw the impact our giveback model has on people’s lives. For every product purchased, Hand In Hand works with our partners My Neighbor's Children and Eco Soap Bank to donate one bar of soap and one month of clean water to a child in need. Our donations have now grown to 23 countries and counting: Haiti, Nicaragua, Guatamela, Bahamas, Cambodia, Syria, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Panama, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Nepal, Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, Eswatini, Bangladesh, Laos, Greece, Zambia, Honduras. Almost 14 million bars of soap and miles of smiles later, we are grateful to be harnessing the power of business for good. Together with you: Hand in Hand.
Q: How can I get the pump to work?
A: When this happens, the best method is to twist off and completely remove the pump, then hold the straw piece while twisting the spout. For our visual soap lovers, take a look at the video above!
Q: What products are packaged in aluminum?
A: In an effort to continue our sustainability mission, we are transitioning our product packaging to infinitely recyclable brushed aluminum. You can currently find our liquid hand soaps and body lotion in our brushed aluminum on our site and participating retailers. Stay tuned for more products to transition to our updated packaging in the near future!
Q: Do you offer refills on any of your products?
A: We are currently working on a refill program for our liquid hand soaps. Stay tuned for these updates on our website, Instagram, and Facebook pages in the coming year!
Q: Where are your products made?
A: All of our products are made close by in Northeast USA!
Q: Are all your products Vegan and Cruelty Free?
A: Yes and Yes! We take great care in formulating our products to ensure the ingredients are created and manufactured the right way. In addition, we are Leaping Bunny Certified! For more information, please visit our full ingredients page.
Q: How can your formulas be above natural, but “Fragrance” is on the ingredient listing?
A: We use a blend of essential oils and synthetic fragrance to ensure our products are shelf-stable. All of our ingredients, including the synthetic fragrance, are sustainably harvested and all endocrine disruptors are removed before use.
Q: Do you offer donations for various events?
A: Yes, we have donated to various events that we handle on a case-by-case basis. If you’re interested, please email customerservice@handinhandsoap.com and we can see if it’s a right match!
Q: How do I sign up to collaborate with you?

Q: Do you offer wholesale and corporate gifting?
We are not currently involved in corporate gifting but are working on it! If you are a company that is interested in gifting our products, please email customerservice@handinhandsoap.com!
